Twice a year (first Saturday of Advent and first Saturday of Lent), we offer a Day of Recollection for families at Holy Family Church. The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a sung Mass and ends at 3:00 p.m. with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. We offer concurrent talks aimed at adults, teenagers, and primary school children. The topics are the same for each age group so that families can discuss together what they learned during the day. There is a common Rosary and Litany of Our Lady, ample opportunity to go to confession, and a chance to meet other Catholic families during lunch. (In Lent, we also have Stations of the Cross.) Baby-sitting for children under seven years old is provided as is a simple lunch. There is no cost for the day, but people who intend to stay for lunch are asked to make a donation to cover the cost of food.
In order to make it possible for us to plan the food and the baby sitting, we need to know how many people are coming. So if you intend to come, please Contact Us Via E-mail or phone us (416-532-2879) to let us know how many people will be coming with you and what are their ages. We hope to see you next on:
