We are pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Fournier as the Director of Music at St Vincent de Paul. Mr Fournier comes to us from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine, where he was the Organist and Director of Music from 2000 to 2007. He has a BA from College of the Holy Cross (1992) and an MM in organ performance from Arizona State University (1997). He taught Gregorian Chant in Colby College (2006) and, while in Portland, he founded the Cathedral Schola Cantorum, which specialized in chant and polyphony.
Singers interested in joining the St Vincent de Paul Tridentine Choir or the St Vincent de Paul Sung English Mass Choir should contact Philip Fournier at 416-538-5893 or by sending an e-mail to St Vincent’s for an audition. Basic ability to read music required.

What is the choir singing on Sunday? |
Click on the parish bulletin icon to the left for the music list. Depending on what day of the week you check, you will either find out what the choir is going to sing on Sunday or what it has sung on Sunday. (There is a date printed in the bulletin file so you will not have to guess.) The bulletin is a PDF file, so you will need Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader (see left column).
