The Toronto Oratory Choir is a group of singers with professional experience who provide music for the 11:00 a.m. Sung Latin Mass and the 5:00 p.m. Vespers and Benediction every Sunday, and for various special days throughout the year. More of a vocal ensemble that a choir, the size of the group varies: the group often performs with just one or two singers per part, but there are sometimes as many as sixteen involved. There are paid and unpaid positions, and the Director of Music is always glad to meet experienced singers who are interested in becoming part of this group, which concentrates on Renaissance Polyphony and Plainsong. You may reach Peter Bishop at 416-535-5119 for further information.
Click here for samples of music this choir sings. You may also purchase a cassette tape of their music at our online Bookstall.

What is the choir singing on Sundays? |
Click on the parish bulletin icon to the left for the music list. Depending on what day of the week you check, you will either find out what the choir is going to sing on Sunday or what it has sung on Sunday. (There is a date printed in the bulletin file so you will not have to guess.) The bulletin is a PDF file, so you will need Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader (see left column).
