The Holy Family Parish Choir sings at the 9:30 a.m. Mass in English every Sunday morning throughout the year, and at a number of Masses on Solemnities and special parish occasions.  In addition, this active group sings at the Friday evening Holy Hour and Benediction on the first Friday of the month at 8:00 p.m., and at Stations of the Cross and Benediction on Fridays in Lent at 7:30 p.m. The choir, which currently has eight members, rehearses each Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  in the choir room of Holy Family Church.

     The repertoire is very wide, ranging from Gregorian chant and traditional hymnody to contemporary music. While more experienced choral singers are welcome, beginners are strongly encouraged:  this volunteer group is an excellent opportunity for those who have never sung in a choir before to learn the basics of choral singing and church music. Previous musical training is not necessary, but a willingness and ability to undertake the commitment involved is essential. What is the choir singing on Sunday?

Click on the parish bulletin icon to the left for the music list.  Depending on what day of the week you check, you will either find out what the choir is going to sing on Sunday or what it has sung on Sunday.  (There is a date printed in the bulletin file so you will not have to guess.)  The bulletin is a PDF file, so you will need Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader (see left column).
